ملخص البحث
تميزت الحضارة الإسلامية بوسطيتها، فقد جمعت بين متطلبات النفس ومتطلبات الروح، وصهرت العلم بالإيمان، وكان القول رديف العمل، وكانت أمة وسطاً ما بين الإفراط والتفريط، لم ترفض الدنيا لتعمر الآخرة، متفتحة نحو الحضارات، أفادت واستفادت، وعملت على ترسيخ المنهج التجريبي في العلوم، حيث كانت قبلاً مجرد فلسفة لا طائل منها، وما سر نجاح الحضارة الغربية اليوم سوى أنهم أخذوا عن المسلمين المنهج العملي في حياتهم وعلومهم، وكان سبب تخلفنا اليوم هو ابتعادنا عن ديننا الذي رسم لنا صفوة السعادة في الدارين، وتخاذلنا عن الأخذ بذاك المنهج المرسوم، لذا كان لزاماٌ علينا إذا أردنا أن نعود إلى سالف عصرنا ومنار تقدمنا؛ أن نتمثل حضارتنا الأولى، وأن لا نوارب ما بين النظرة التعبدية للعبادة، والعمل، فالدنيا هي مزرعة الآخرة، فالمسلمون أدركوا سر السعادة فلا تنافر بين عمل الدنيا وعمل الآخرة، ولا تنازع بين علوم الشريعة وعلوم الحياة، وهذا التناغم لم تدركه حضارة قبلاً أو دين، وجاءت الحضارة الحديثة لتفصل العلم عن الدين دون وجهة حق، لكننا عندما قسنا ديننا على دينهم حصلت الازدواجية والتنافر، وما تذكيري في رسالتي هذه بالعلماء الموسوعيين، سوى للرجوع إلى الترابط الوثيق ما بين الدين والعلم، فقد كان المسلمون منارات في علوم متعددة شرعية وحياتية، فأوردت في رسالتي تراجم لمثل هؤلاء العلماء، وعرَّفت بهم، وبينت مدى ما حملوه من انسجام بين العلوم الشرعية والحياتية وكذلك بينت كيفية نشأتهم ومدى تأثيرهم في المجتمع، وفي أبواب العلوم كافة، وفي الحضارة الإنسانية جمعاء.

Thesis Abstract
Islamic civilization was distinguished by its moderation, as it combined the requirements of the self and the requirements of the soul, and fused science with faith, and the saying was synonymous with action. Before, it was just a useless philosophy, and the secret of the success of Western civilization today is that they took from Muslims the practical approach in their lives and their sciences. So it was necessary for us if we wanted to go back to the ancestor of our times and the beacon of our progress; To represent our first civilization, and not to confuse between the devotional view of worship and work, for the world is the farm of the hereafter, for Muslims have realized the secret of happiness, so there is no dissonance between the work of this world and the work of the hereafter, and there is no conflict between the sciences of Sharia and the sciences of life, and this harmony has not been realized by any civilization before or any religion, Modern civilization came to separate science from religion without a right point, and because religion does not meet with science with them, they are completely unlike us. Religion, reason, and science are closely related to us, but when we measured our religion against theirs, duplicity and disharmony occurred, and my reminder in this letter to the encyclopedic scholars is only to return to the close interrelationship between religion and science. For such scholars, I introduced their biography in my letter, and showed the extent of the harmony they carried between the legal and life sciences, as well as how they were brought up and the extent of their influence in society, in all branches of science, and in all human civilization
